Capgemini Brussels is seeking a PowerShell-focused automation specialist to deliver long-term automation projects and scripts for our enterprise environments. The role emphasizes a development-oriented path rather than traditional system administration, with hands-on work on PowerShell modules, login scripts, and task schedulers.

Ideal candidates will be fluent in French and English, and bring knowledge of ADSI, WMI/CIM, and Windows internals.

Qualificações

• Strong PowerShell scripting experience and automation background.
• Experience querying SQL Server via scripting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and ADSI.
• Knowledge of Windows internals (Registry, .NET) is a plus.

YOUR ROLE

The position is based in Brussels and requires a strong PowerShell oriented profile. Please note that this role is much closer to a PowerShell developer position than to a classic system administrator role. This mission therefore offers interesting and long term automation projects, which are particularly attractive for candidates who enjoy scripting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing, validating and maintaining existing PowerShell scripts
• Source code management
• Managing and updating PowerShell modules used by the team
• Managing login scripts for all workstations
• Managing the scheduled tasks server and the related tasks
• Centralising and aggregating information coming from logs, databases or Active Directory.

YOUR PROFILE

• Querying SQL Server via PowerShell
• Querying Active Directory via ADSI (no Active Directory module available on workstations)
• Centralising and processing logs in different formats
• Working with Windows instrumentation layers (WMI / CIM)
• A good understanding of object oriented programming as well as knowledge of Windows internals (Registry, .NET, etc.) will be considered strong assets.
• Candidates should be fluent in French and English.
