Médiane Benelux is seeking a System Engineer with expertise in hydraulics and power shift modules to join our automotive engineering team. You will ensure seamless integration, validation, and performance of transmission systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical design, system engineering tools, and quality methods, with responsibility for system-level testing, safety, and cybersecurity considerations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in automotive engineering.
• Strong mechanical engineering background linking software and control strategies.
• Hands-on with 5W2H, 8D problem solving, and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, Minitab, Vector CANape, Polarion.

Responsabilités

• Decompose technical product-level requirements into subsystem-level requirements, specifications, and architecture, ensuring compliance.
• Manage and update Critical-to-Function (CTF) items.
• Make technical decisions and maintain effective communication across stakeholders and departments.
• Conduct system-level V-cycle testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including embedded software, hardware, mechanical, hydraulic, and materials engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
• Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Lead system issue investigations (8D/QRQC) during development, serial production, and after-sales support.
• Support the development of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity requirements.
