Médiane Système in Belgium seeks a Senior Automotive Validation Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of automotive systems, with a focus on hybrid powertrains and automatic transmissions. The role requires leading testing campaigns, coordinating with R&D, production and quality teams, and mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Automotive or related field, 5+ years in automotive validation, experience with hybrid powertrains, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive validation, ideally in system and equipment validation.
• Experience with hybrid powertrains and automatic transmissions is a plus.
• Proven ability to technically lead a team and work independently.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent validation to stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Plan and oversee automotive testing campaigns on test benches and vehicles.
• Analyze results, identify issues, and propose corrective and preventive solutions.
• Represent the validation function within the organization and coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, quality).
• Mentor a team and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize testing processes and implement advanced analytical methods (8D, root cause analysis, etc.).
