Job summary

Editx in Belgium is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to own the system architecture for virtualization, cluster design, SAN/NAS, and DRP constructs.

You will define architectural principles, guardrails and standards, develop the runway for future platform capabilities, and guide vendors and teams to ensure consistent, auditable architectures aligned with resilience, security, and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the system architecture for infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, cluster design, SAN/NAS, and DRP constructs.
• Define and maintain architectural principles, guardrails, and standards aligned with enterprise and assurance expectations.
• Develop the architectural runway to enable upcoming platform capabilities while managing technical debt and lifecycle constraints.
• Guide and challenge solution designs proposed by teams, vendors, and integrators to ensure consistency across environments.
• Lead architectural decisions regarding availability, resilience, performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product management and security, to ensure architectures are operationally sound and auditable.
