Jobtailor in Belgium seeks a Senior IT System Architect to design and oversee server, network, storage and cloud environments, analyze business requirements and lead technical audits.

You will define architectural standards, support infrastructure implementations, create diagrams, document procedures and integrate cybersecurity, GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIS2 into governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior IT System Architect or in an equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in designing and architecting virtual, physical and storage environments.
• Experience in technical documentation and procedure formalization.
• Good command of IT governance and the ITIL framework.
• Proficiency with IaC, IaaS and PaaS models.
• Excellent understanding of network protocols and security mechanisms such as firewalls, Zero Trust and IAM.
• Awareness of cybersecurity, compliance and risk management issues.
