Amcor is seeking a Product Development Engineer for the Global R&D organization to drive project management, product development and customer technical support across the EMEA region in the industrial packaging segment. The role focuses on sustainability innovations, recyclable products, and close collaboration with sales, marketing, machine manufacturers, and raw material suppliers.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymers or Material Science.
• Experience in packaging or plastic processing is an asset.
• Project management experience.
• Fluency in German and English.

• Lead development projects from idea to launch with cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, machine manufacturers and suppliers to deliver profitable growth.
• Manage project budgets and trials in collaboration with the cross‑functional team.
• Support sustainability initiatives and recyclable product development.
