Connect Group is seeking a Support Engineer to join our IT helpdesk. You will be the first point of contact for colleagues in production and office environments, diagnosing issues and delivering fast, customer-focused solutions.

You will log incidents, perform basic fixes, and escalate when necessary, while keeping clear documentation for ongoing improvement. You should hold a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or Networking and have up to two years of IT support experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a comparable field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk or service desk, including internships.
• Excellent spoken and written Dutch with good English for documentation and international collaboration.
• Customer-focused, patient and able to explain technical steps to non-technical users.

Responsabilités

• Register and classify incidents and service requests via phone, ticket or direct intake.
• Provide first-line support aligned with ITIL processes and internal work instructions.
• Restore basic services quickly by unlocking accounts, resetting passwords, or replacing peripherals.
• Handle routine requests such as software installation and setting up new users or workstations.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, PCs, printers and mobile devices.
• Conduct basic checks on network connections, VPN access and IP connectivity.
• Document symptoms, steps taken and solutions clearly in the ticketing system.
• Explain technical steps clearly and patiently to production operators and office staff.
