Aerospacelab, Inc. in Belgium is expanding its procurement team to drive end-to-end supplier engagement for flight hardware and related subsystems.

You will translate engineering needs into tender documents, manage RFI/RFP processes, and coordinate with Engineering, Legal, and Export Control teams. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you’ll lead negotiations, review contracts, and place POs in Odoo. Fluent English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of sourcing/ procurement experience in an industrial environment.
• Proven hands-on experience managing RFI/RFP processes and leading supplier selection.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with cost and lead‑time reduction.
• Experience managing purchasing portfolios end-to-end: sourcing through PO and delivery.
• Fluent in English (French is a plus).
• Solution-oriented, agile mindset; autonomous and able to multitask.
• Excellent communication across all organizational levels and partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead RFI/RFP management from market exploration to award.
• Translate engineering requirements into procurement documents for tendering.
• Define evaluation grids covering technical compliance, cost, lead time.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Export Control, and Legal teams.
• Drive supplier clarification rounds and Q&A in the tender phase.
• Lead supplier selection from market survey to award recommendation.
• Perform supplier capability assessments: financial health, capacity, quality systems.
• Maintain supplier register with export control classifications.
