TMC Belgium is seeking a Strategic Buyer to lead sourcing of technical equipment and services for major projects in a fast-moving engineering environment. You will develop long-term procurement strategies and own end-to-end processes to deliver value.

You will analyse markets, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure requirements are met while advancing sustainability and best practices in procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, technical studies, economics or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, public procurement or project management.
• Fluency in French and Dutch and English.
• Good understanding of contract negotiation, strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement medium- to long-term procurement strategies for technical equipment and services.
• Manage end-to-end procurement procedures, from defining selection and awarding criteria through tendering, negotiation and contract award.
• Analyse international markets, suppliers and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, project and business stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement activities.
• Contribute to sustainable procurement initiatives, process improvements and the development of procurement best practices.
