Job summary

Craftzing is seeking a Solution Architect in Belgium to bridge business goals and technical reality, designing the technical backbone of digital platforms for top-tier clients while remaining vendor-agnostic and independent of any single supplier.

You translate business needs into concrete architectures and guide end-to-end solution designs with application specialists, communicating clearly with engineers and C-level stakeholders. Dutch and English fluency is expected; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Experience in software engineering/architecture is preferred.
• Strong communication with engineers and C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Think along with business stakeholders to understand goals and constraints.
• Translate requirements into end-to-end technical designs and architecture schemas.
• Refine designs with application specialists into plannable work.
• Maintain vendor-agnostic approach and see the bigger picture in decisions.
• Evaluate market options (build vs. buy) when appropriate.
• Document architecture decisions balancing scalability, security, performance and cost.
• Design API-driven integrations across applications and third-party systems.
• Safeguard non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Explain complex topics in clear language to non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify risks early and propose mitigations.
