IMEC in Leuven, Belgium is seeking a Security Risk Manager to act as the embedded security risk partner in the first line, close to operations but connected to the central Corporate Security Office. You will translate policy into practical actions and ensure risks are transparent and owned by local teams.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in information security or risk management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Ability to translate security risks into clear business language.

Responsabilités

• Act as embedded security risk partner for assigned sectors, while keeping ownership with line management.
• Maintain structured security risk views including risks, mitigations and escalations.
• Support management in understanding, prioritizing and owning security risks and remediation.
• Translate corporate policies into practical local actions and routines.
• Prepare risk insights and escalation material for governance forums.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the first-line risk model.
