Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Security Manager for the Belgian Land Forces SIMCEN programme in Leopoldsburg, Belgium. This full-time fixed-term role involves leading security governance, compliance, assurance and risk management to support national security objectives.

Based at SIMCEN, travel to other Babcock and customer sites is expected. The role offers exposure to defence, engineering and technology in a global FTSE 100 organisation and opportunities for leadership development.

Qualifications

• Security governance, compliance, assurance and risk management experience.
• Security risk assessments, audits and assurance activities.
• Knowledge of personnel security, clearance management and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Managing security compliance activities and maintaining programme accreditation requirements.
• Conducting security risk assessments, audits and assurance reviews across programme activities.
• Overseeing secure data handling processes and information security controls.
• Supporting test, evaluation and operational assurance activities from a security perspective.
• Managing personnel security clearances and advising stakeholders on security policy and best practice.
