Job summary

Reynaers Aluminium is seeking an experienced Strategic Buyer to strengthen the central procurement team in Duffel, Belgium. You will own key categories and drive value through data-based negotiations, collaborating with Product Management, R&D, Quality and Customer Service to balance costs, quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least five years of relevant Procurement experience.
• Experience with complex negotiations and able to take a clear position.
• Analytically strong and confident working with data.
• Assertive and result-driven, without losing sight of the broader picture.
• Able to challenge stakeholders while bringing them along.
• Thrive in pace, complexity and responsibility.
• Live nearby Duffel and speak fluently Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of your category from day one and define the approach toward suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage categories (standard hardware and surface treatment) with an annual spend of ~€65 million across large and small suppliers.
• Use data, indexation and should costing to support negotiations and translate analysis into concrete strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Quality, Customer Service, S&OP and other teams to align decisions.
