Job summary

IMEC in Leuven, Belgium, invites a Funded Manager - Hardware Technologies to steer public funding activities across hardware and deep-tech domains. You will coordinate front-office funding work, build partnerships with Flemish and national agencies, and help shape project proposals from concept to reporting.

You’ll develop deep expertise in public funding, monitor the Flemish funding landscape, and work across imec’s hardware portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in engineering or sciences, preferably hardware/semiconductor background.
• Interest in hardware and semiconductor innovation and ability to learn across imec technology areas.

Responsibilities

• Be the interface to Flemish and national funding agencies for strategic hardware and deep-tech research areas.
• Participate in workshops, conferences and meetings with governmental stakeholders to align imec topics with relevant work programs.
• Initiate and follow up funded projects through proposal drafting, submission, evaluation, negotiation and cooperation agreements; provide reporting and project follow-up.
