Job summary

Walt & Spencer in Belgium seeks a Business Controller to lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning for a designated area. You will deliver financial insights to senior leadership and drive the monthly closing, reporting and dashboards to support decision making.

The role requires a Master in finance or related field with 5–10 years in finance partnering, and fluency in Dutch or French and English. A dynamic, high-impact Finance partner role awaits.

Qualifications

• Master in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• 5 to 10 years in business controlling, FP&A or finance partnering.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning for your area.
• Present financial insights and results to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
• Drive the monthly closing and reporting with dashboards and management information on top.
• Analyze business performance, flag risks and opportunities, and challenge assumptions behind decisions.
• Act as Finance Business Partner to the Business Unit Directors, helping them understand performance and its key drivers.
