Job summary

SB Recruitment & Services seeks a Buying & Sourcing Manager for a Brussels-based fashion & textiles client. You will lead a team of professionals, shape the global sourcing strategy and ensure alignment with the brand's evolving direction.

The role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, overseeing supplier partnerships, production processes and quality standards to drive efficiency, profitability and brand integrity. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in buying & sourcing within the fashion industry, ideally international.
• Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, fitting and production processes.
• Proven ability to optimise processes, drive transformation and manage costs.
• Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Solid people management skills and change leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate evolving brand strategy into concrete buying, sourcing and product decisions.
• Develop and optimise international buying and sourcing strategy with focus on quality, cost and delivery reliability.
• Lead business transformation of buying, sourcing and production processes for efficiency and cost improvements.
• Foster strong international supplier partnerships and negotiate competitive agreements.
• Ensure high standards in fabrics, construction, fit, finishing and quality with Product Development.
• Monitor KPIs and margins; coach team through organisational change.
