Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Staff Program Manager to drive innovation and excellence across our organisation. You will coordinate complex, multi-disciplinary programs that impact scientific advancement and customer success.

This role develops comprehensive project plans, aligning cross-functional teams and maintaining communications with stakeholders at all levels. A strategic leader is required to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field with at least 6 years related CDMO/pharma experience.
• 3+ years in a project or program management role dealing with customers, ideally in contract manufacturing.
• Experience with CMC and CDMO processes and lifecycle knowledge.
• Strong financial forecasting, budgeting, tracking, and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to identify and manage risk.
• Excellent communication across all levels in a matrix environment.
• Pragmatic, proactive and flexible leader of cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in French.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver all stages of programs within budget and time in a matrix org.
• Resolve issues and drive progress to completion to required standards.
• Communicate with business, Belgium technical, and customer teams; report milestones.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation; escalate to senior leadership as needed.
• Demonstrate leadership in PM standard work and customer-centric behavior.
• Manage timelines, budgets, communication plans, risk prevention, and project plans.
