Robert Half is seeking a Cost Accounting & Reporting Specialist (m/f/x) for a permanent position in Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium. The role focuses on cost accounting, reporting and ensuring accurate cost tracking within an international environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring expenses, processing invoices, supporting month-end and year-end closings, budgeting and financial analysis, and preparing reports for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in Services or Retail sectors is required.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German or other European languages is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in international/shared services and IFRS knowledge are strong assets.

Responsabilités

• Monitoring and analysing operational expenses and ensuring accurate cost tracking.
• Processing and reviewing invoices while maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Preparing financial reports and supporting internal and external audits.
• Contributing to process improvements and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
