Datashift is seeking an AI Safety & Value Consultant to help clients unlock AI benefits while managing its risks. You will shape governance, embed safeguards and foster scalable AI adoption across organisations, balancing innovation with safety.

You will collaborate with leadership teams to embed practical safeguards, set up risk registries, and drive change management to ensure responsible AI usage in client systems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of consulting, strategy or business analysis experience with a track record of designing processes or governance and driving adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning fundamentals, including generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience identifying and managing risk (AI, data, technology or compliance: bias, privacy, security, robustness, transparency).
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and regulation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR).
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Design AI governance operating models: roles, decision rights, intake and approval flows.
• Build the AI lifecycle process, from intake and risk triage through deployment, monitoring and retirement.
• Drive the organisational change that makes it work: onboarding stakeholders, embedding ways of working, building internal capability.
• Set up inventories and registries so clients know what AI they run and how it performs.
• Conduct comprehensive AI risk assessments and ethical evaluations for client systems.
