Yusen Logistics is seeking a Senior Strategic Business Development professional to drive growth of 4PL and LLP solutions across Europe’s automotive sector. You will identify opportunities with OEMs and suppliers, build senior-level relationships, and lead proposals from first contact to contract award, collaborating with Operations, Solution Design, Marketing and RFP teams.

The role requires 15+ years in international supply chain solutions, fluent English and German, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline; an MBA is considered a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in complex international Supply Chain Solutions, 4PL or LLP environments.
• Proven track record of winning strategic new business within the Automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management and international freight.
• Established network within the European Automotive industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating market opportunities into growth.
• Results-driven, self-motivated, able to operate independently in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and German; other European languages are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for Supply Chain Solutions within the European Automotive sector.
• Identify, qualify and secure new 4PL and LLP business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers.
• Build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Lead customer presentations, negotiations and solution workshops.
• Collaborate with Operations, Solution Design, Marketing and RFP teams on proposals.
• Promote integrated Supply Chain Solutions and articulate unique value propositions.
• Monitor market developments and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain a sales pipeline, provide forecasting and support strategic planning.
• Represent Yusen Logistics at meetings, events and trade exhibitions across Europe.
