Metheion seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and deploy proof-of-concept solutions for immersive stage experiences. You will work across AI, real-time data, 3D environments, and interactive visuals, applying cutting-edge tech to live performances.

You will collaborate with artists, engineers, and clients to translate creative concepts into working solutions, with a hybrid work model and 3 on-site days in Leuven. 8-month assignment with potential prolongation.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying CUDA-accelerated AI models on edge devices.
• Strong Python and TypeScript programming skills.
• Backend/API development with modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience in interactive or real-time software.
• Understanding infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Ability to bridge conventional software engineering with creative technology.

Responsabilités

• Develop proof-of-concept applications for immersive stage experiences.
• Apply AI algorithms to create responsive interactions.
• Develop full-stack apps, APIs, and AI-powered edge components.
• Utilize Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar tools where appropriate.
• Design software infrastructure across cloud, local, and edge environments.
• Collaborate with artists, engineers, and clients to realize concepts.
• Prototype rapidly, test, and iterate based on feedback.
• Balance architectural decisions with hands-on coding.
