Vivid Resourcing is seeking an AI Engineer to join an Automation company in Lokeren. You will design and develop AI-powered solutions that automate complex processes, improve data usage and boost operational efficiency.

Work with generative AI, ML, NLP and AI agents, building data pipelines and integrating AI with enterprise systems. You’ll own projects end-to-end from prototyping to deployment, in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in AI engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience deploying ML/AI solutions in production.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP or AI agents.

As an AI Engineer working within an Automation company you'll be working on the design and development of AI-powered solutions that help businesses automate complex processes, make better use of their data, and improve operational efficiency. From generative AI and intelligent agents to machine learning and data pipelines, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies in the AI space.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions for business automation.
• Develop intelligent automation applications using LLMs, generative AI, NLP and AI agents.
• Build AI-powered agents capable of automating tasks, workflows, customer interactions and business processes.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing business applications, APIs, databases and enterprise platforms.
• Design and develop data pipelines and processing workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and optimise AI solutions for accuracy, scalability, reliability and low-latency inference.
• Take ownership of AI projects throughout the development lifecycle, from prototyping and experimentation through to deployment and monitoring.

Your Profile

• 2–8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, NLP, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning or AI solutions in production.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, NLP or AI agent applications.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, APIs and cloud-based environments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where technologies and requirements evolve quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in applying AI to real-world business challenges.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or open-source LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience developing RAG pipelines, vector databases or semantic search solutions.
• Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring and AI evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with workflow automation, enterprise systems or business-process automation.
• Experience building real-time or low-latency AI applications.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, SaaS platforms or internal business systems.
