Appsierra Group seeks a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to align digital solutions, IT services, projects and programmes with organisational objectives. You will build a balanced IT portfolio across run, grow and transform horizons and manage governance, risk, and budget alignment.

You will evaluate components using WSJF and Cost of Delay, and lead cross-functional collaboration with solution, service, programme and project managers to deliver dashboards and reports aligned to KPIs and OKRs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience.
• Experience with project, programme and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PM², PfMP).
• 10 years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strategically balanced IT portfolio across run, grow and transform horizons.
• Evaluate and prioritize portfolio components using weighted methods such as WSJF and Cost of Delay.
• Manage resource capacity, allocation, and dependencies through portfolio Kanban and quarterly planning.
• Collect and analyse portfolio performance against KPIs and OKRs, delivering automated dashboards and reports.
• Oversee portfolio governance, risk registers, change control, and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with solution, service, programme and project managers and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience.
• 15 years experience with project, programme and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PM², PfMP).
• 10 years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
• 10 years experience in IT Governance.
• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling (BPMN/UML) and cost‑benefit analysis.

Nice to have

• Hands‑on experience with GovIS2, Jira Align or equivalent PPM platforms.
• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL4 frameworks.
• Background in cybersecurity principles and IT asset protection.
• Experience performing As‑Is/To‑Be and gap analyses.
