ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a skilled electrical power systems engineer to support or lead spacecraft power designs, including converter design, integration, test and maintenance.

You will review designs with external electronics providers, collaborate with flight software/FPGA and mechanical teams, and develop robust test plans to validate power supplies. With experience, you may drive full projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical or Aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in power supplies design, including converter regulation and filtering.
• Proficiency with Spice simulators for switching converters analysis.
• Knowledge of common converter topologies (non-isolated and isolated).
• Experience with magnetics design and implementation.
• Experience leading internal or outsourced component/subassembly design.
• Experience with diagnosis, debugging and testing methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to drive designs to completion.
• Good English knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Support or lead electrical power systems design for spacecraft missions.
• Support all development chain activities: converter design, integration, test, operations, maintenance.
• Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance.
• Collaborate with external electronics and magnetics providers to review designs and plan integration/test approaches.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams (flight software/ FPGA, mechanical/thermal) to ensure space-environment compatibility.
• Develop test plans to ensure adequate testing of power supplies.
• Depending on experience, drive full projects and lead a team of engineers.
