ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, is seeking an experienced engineer to support or lead spacecraft electrical/electronics subsystem design, including power electronics and high-speed digital hardware with sensor interfaces.

You will work on digital and analog embedded hardware, cover the full development chain from specification to operations and maintenance, develop robust test plans, and drive design reviews.

Qualifications

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of work experience in electronics circuit design.
• Ability to work across the team and company to drive designs to completion.
• Experience with diagnosis/debug and system-level testing methodologies.
• Good communication.
• Willing to learn.
• Good English knowledge.

Job Description

Support or lead electrical and electronics subsystem design for spacecraft missions, including power electronics, high-speed digital hardware, sensor interface.

Work on digital and analog embedded hardware

Support all aspects of the development chain: specification, design, integration, test, operations, and maintenance

Develop test plans that ensure adequate testing of units and the complete system

Support design reviews to ensure requirements and interface compliance

Depending on experience, drive full projects and lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers of flight software/ FPGA developers and mechanical/thermal engineers

Profile / Requirements

Must have

• MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering or related field
• Several years of work experience in electronics circuit design
• Ability to work across the team and company to drive designs to completion
• Experience with diagnosis/debug and system level testing methodologies
• Good communication
• Willing to learn
• Good English knowledge

Nice to have

• A passion for technology and rapid execution of sophisticated space missions
• Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, C)
• Proficiency with common industry electronic design and simulation software
