Jobtailor is seeking a motivated engineer to perform energy yield calculations and feasibility studies for renewable energy projects in Belgium. You will conduct site inspections, analyse results, and prepare client reports while gradually taking on project manager responsibilities.

The role suits someone with a Master’s degree in engineering and 1–3 years of experience, fluent in English and willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Highly organised with excellent technical writing skills.
• Affinity for Renewable Energy and interest reflected in lifestyle.
• Willingness to travel for short trips and occasional longer assignments.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• You will perform energy yield calculations, using industry recognised software and internal tools & processes.
• You will analyse the results and produce client reports.
• You will perform technical feasibility studies.
• You will perform site inspections before, during and after construction of projects.
• Over time, you will also start interacting directly with customers.
• At first you will work on a project managed by one of your colleagues and gradually you will be taking the role of project manager yourself.

Requirements

• You hold a Master’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• You have 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• You’re highly organised, with excellent technical writing skills.
• You like finding solutions, notice the little details that make a difference, and thrive when handling several projects simultaneously.
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities when needed.
• We are looking for a candidate with affinity and interest for everything related to Renewable Energy. You show a strong interest in renewable energies, and this reflects in your way of life.
• You are available for short trips abroad (during the project construction monitoring period - usually for a few days/month). Occasionally we conduct longer-term assignments (couple of weeks) and travelling might be required.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Bonus points for:
• Knowledge on BESS Design and deployment focus on Li‑on technology, PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVCase, etc.
• Eastern European languages are a big plus.
