Job summary

Axis Group is seeking a driven Occupational Accident Underwriter to manage SME insurance policies and maintain strong relationships with French-speaking brokers. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, accuracy in underwriting terms, and delivering excellent client service in a modern, informal environment.

You will work cross-functionally to grow the workers’ compensation segment, optimize terms, and support brokers with applications and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Has work experience in workers’ compensation insurance or underwriting.
• Has completed a higher-level degree in insurance, law, or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch and French with strong English.
• Good precision, initiative, and customer-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance contracts within the SME segment.
• Analyze broker requests and provide clear responses.
• Maintain regular contact with primarily French-speaking brokers.
• Ensure accurate underwriting terms and rates.
• Provide excellent service through clear communication and problem solving.
• Contribute to growth by acquiring new clients and broker agreements.
• Support brokers with new applications and negotiations on ongoing cases.
