Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated Site Manager to oversee the Belgian sites within HBUEU, delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will lead on-site activities for Hitachi Energy products, enforce safety plans, coordinate resources and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires 5–7 years in site management, fluency in Dutch, French and English, and willingness to travel across Belgium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years in site management or similar leadership role.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Belgium.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise all on-site activities for Hitachi Energy projects.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans in line with regulations.
• Plan resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with schedules and safety.
• Monitor progress against schedules and budgets; implement corrective actions.
• Serve as main on-site client contact; maintain relationships.
• Submit regular progress reports and logs to management.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigations.
• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
• Resolve on-site technical and logistical challenges; escalate when needed.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance.
