Vulcain Engineering Group Belgium is seeking a Project Lead to manage the execution of high-voltage grid infrastructure projects across Belgium. You will oversee construction through commissioning, coordinate contractors and site teams, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years’ experience, and fluency in Dutch and English (French would be a plus).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering, construction or site coordination.
• Experience managing contractors or coordinating on-site activities.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory (French is a plus).

Responsabilités

• Lead the execution phase of infrastructure projects involving high-voltage substations, underground cables and grid reinforcement works.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and site activities throughout construction and commissioning.
• Monitor project planning, budget, risks and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Manage site interfaces and resolve technical or organizational challenges.
• Organize progress meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Support commissioning activities and project handover.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects supporting the expansion and modernization of the electrical grid.
