Syngenia SA seeks a Site Supervisor to monitor and supervise contractors and site teams to ensure project schedules and quality standards are met on challenging international projects.

The role requires a technical Bachelor's degree, 2–4 years of on-site experience, strong coordination and communication, and a safety-first mindset. Dutch fluency is required; French is a plus and English knowledge is an asset. Night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably civil or mechanical engineering.
• 2–4 years of site experience or equivalent knowledge in construction or mechanical industry.
• Experience in construction site supervision and team coordination.
• Able to manage administrative follow-up linked to site activities.
• Strong communication skills within a structured organization.
• Flexible and adaptable to site constraints; willingness to work nights/weekends.
• Strong emphasis on safety and disciplined, methodical work.
• Fluent in Dutch with good command of French; English knowledge and railway sector experience are assets.

Mission

• You monitor and supervise the activities of contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with project schedules and quality requirements.
• You review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation prior to the start of construction activities.
• You organize and coordinate site operations to guarantee efficient execution and high-quality delivery of the works.
• You identify and resolve technical issues encountered on site by applying your civil or mechanical engineering expertise.
• You inform, motivate, and coordinate all stakeholders involved in construction activities.
• You ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and applicable site procedures and regulations.
• You prepare, maintain, and monitor site documentation, including reports, work logs, and as-built files.
• You verify, document, and validate the progress status of construction activities.

Profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably in civil or mechanical engineering.
• You have 2 to 4 years of site experience or equivalent technical knowledge in the construction or mechanical industry.
• You have experience in construction site supervision and team coordination.
• You are comfortable managing the administrative follow-up associated with site activities.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills and enjoy working within a structured organization.
• You are flexible, adaptable to site constraints, and willing to work night shifts and/or weekends when required.
• You place a strong emphasis on safety and work in a rigorous and methodical manner.
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French; knowledge of English and experience in the railway sector are considered assets.
