Absolute Jobs Oostende is seeking an independent Ship Electrician to carry out electrical maintenance and repair work on ships. You will work on different vessels at the workshop in Ostend and on-site across West Flanders, starting on site and operating independently on planned tasks.

Responsibilities include electrical tests/inspections, disconnecting components from engines, troubleshooting faults, and proactively finding effective solutions in a dynamic maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Carrying out electrical maintenance and repair work on ships.
• Performing electrical tests and inspections.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and finding suitable solutions.
• Starting on site and working independently on planned tasks.
• Disconnecting electrical components and wiring from engines.
