Job summary

Brussels Airlines is seeking a hands-on Sheet Metal Performer to join our Maintenance & Engineering team. You will perform structural sheet metal and composite repairs on Airbus A320 family and A330 aircraft, ensuring safe, precise and high-quality maintenance for internal customers.

You will collaborate with aircraft engineers and the engineering department to minimise downtime, document work accurately, and comply with EASA Part 145 rules in a fast-paced environment at Brussels Airport.

Qualifications

• A3 qualification from a technical school.
• Approved sheet metal and/or composite course certificate or demonstrated repair experience.
• Structured, methodical and logical problem-solving approach.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural sheet metal and composite repairs on Airbus A320 family and Airbus A330 aircraft.
• Assess, report and rectify aircraft structural damages, modifications and sheet metal or composite related discrepancies according to approved maintenance data.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks in a safe and secure manner.
• Complete aircraft documentation correctly and accurately.
• Collaborate with the engineering department and aircraft engineers to minimise downtime and cost.
• Perform sheet metal and/or composite shop work on aircraft parts and provide the associated administration in accordance with BA scope and EASA Part 145 rules.
• Ensure the cabin shop meets EASA 145 requirements by guarding cleanliness, tools, equipment and stock.
• Monitor and follow up on the state of maintenance of ground equipment material and your working environment.
