NHV Group is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our Maintenance Department. You will perform a wide range of aircraft structural repair and fabrication activities, including disassembly, modification, repair, and reassembly of complex metal and composite structures to maintain airworthiness.

You will work from engineering drawings, maintain records, and collaborate with mechanics and avionics teams in a highly regulated aviation environment, ensuring quality and safety across our fleet.

Competenze

• Practical experience in aircraft structural repair in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Apprenticeship or technical qualification in sheet metal work, aircraft structures, or composite engineering.

Mansioni

• Analyze and assess structural damage to aircraft metal and composite structures.
• Fabricate, install, modify, and repair components made from aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, magnesium, honeycomb structures, alloys, and composites.
• Perform corrosion repairs and component removal and installation.
• Repair or replace damaged sections and structural patches on aircraft systems and components.
• Cut, bend, shape, and form metal and composite materials to precise specifications.
• Apply assembly and fastening techniques including riveting, welding, bolting, screwing, seaming, and soldering.
• Ensure completed work meets appearance, strength, quality, and tolerance standards.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, standards, and maintenance procedures.
