Brussels Airlines is seeking a Maintenance Support Technician to assist the M&E department in keeping hangar operations safe, clean and efficient. You will support aircraft towing, prep, and general facility tasks, contributing to a structured work environment.

The role emphasizes 5S, repairs, inventory control, and collaboration with technicians, with hybrid working options and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid B driver's license required
• Minimum 1–2 years in facility maintenance or support in industrial/aviation environments
• Experience in safety-sensitive, regulated workplaces preferred
• Basic handyman and mechanical skills; familiar with hand tools and basic repairs
• Understanding of 5S or similar workplace organization systems
• Physically capable of lifting moderate loads and performing manual tasks
• Self-motivated, reliable, punctual with sense of responsibility
• Good communication and coordinating skills
• Willingness to adapt to changing maintenance needs or priorities
• Eligible to live and work in Belgium

Responsabilités

• Provide general support to technicians and maintenance personnel including aircraft towing, engine/APU prep, water draining and window cleaning
• Assist with planning and executing maintenance-related facility activities
• Report facility issues and deficiencies, and propose improvements to management
• Uphold 5S standards; keep hangar and maintenance areas clean and organized
• Perform general cleaning and organization of hangar and spaces
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency
• Coordinate periodic deep cleaning with external vendors
• Assist in setting up and maintaining efficient workplace layout for safety and workflow
• Conduct routine inspections of hangar, shop floor and equipment and address issues promptly
• Perform light handyman tasks and minor repairs; assist in workspace reconfiguration
• Assist in planning and executing maintenance-related tasks per schedules
• Provide light facility support to the TFC during special projects
• Maintain and organize tool and supply inventories; monitor usage and reorders
