dsm-firmenich's Louvain-la-Neuve site is seeking an Associate Manager, Expert SHE&S to provide technical leadership on complex SHE topics and strengthen a proactive, risk-based safety culture across the site. You will partner with operations, engineering and site leadership to ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, process safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
• Prevention Advisor Level 1, or Level 2 with commitment to obtain Level 1.
• Experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Lead risk assessments such as HAZOP, PHA and Management of Change (MOC).
• Provide expertise on occupational health, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and process safety.
• Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Actively support the CPPT through technical expertise, risk assessments and follow-up of actions.
• Support audits, inspections and compliance programs.
• Coach managers and teams on technical SHE matters.
