Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a motivated Associate, SHE to join our Malle site. You will support safety, health, and environmental initiatives across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and HR, gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The role offers a fixed-term contract for 2 years with a balanced mix of analysis, project work and shop-floor collaboration, plus a strong focus on safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship, placement, project, or early professional experience in SHE is an advantage.
• Strong interest in workplace safety, environmental management, and manufacturing operations.
• Prevention Advisor Level 2 qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SHE compliance activities, audits, permits, and reporting processes.
• Analyze SHE data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in Gemba walks, workplace inspections, and risk assessments.
• Assist with safety and environmental training programs.
• Contribute to incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive SHE improvements and support a strong safety culture.
• Support Management of Change (MOC) activities and SHE-related projects.
• Help maintain accurate SHE systems, records, and performance metrics.
