Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to service and maintain wind turbines on-site in Bernau / Eberswalde. You will work in a small team, diagnose faults, and perform modifications to improve performance while documenting results digitally.

The role requires vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics, plus a valid Class B license. Knowledge of SAP and MS Office is beneficial, and fluency in German (B2) with good English completes the profile.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics.
• Home base will vary within your region and you will usually be home in the evening.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and SAP experience is valued.
• Comfortable working at heights and safe operation above ground level.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence (Class BE support may be available).
• Very good German (B2) and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.
• Work in a team (at least two people) to repair turbines and resolve faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and identify causes.
• Carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.
