Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Wind Turbines to maintain and service our wind turbines on-site within the Bernau / Eberswalde region. You will work in a small team and ensure turbines run reliably, with a focus on safety and quality.

Requirements include vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics, familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office, and strong German (B2) with good English. A Class B license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.
• German language at B2 level and strong English are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site servicing and maintenance to ensure wind turbines operate reliably.
• Work in a team to repair turbines and diagnose faults.
• Analyse electronic and mechanical error messages to identify root causes.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics
• Your place of work will vary within your region – you will usually be home again in the evening
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German (B2) and good English skills round off your profile
