Thales in Tubize, Belgium is searching for a Service Architect. You will collaborate with over 250 experts in RF Products and various other areas. Your main responsibilities include delivering service solutions, defining service architectures, and advocating service portfolios to customers.

Service Architect

In Tubize you will join more than 250 colleagues recognized for expertise in RF Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Service Architect will be part of the service discipline department responsible for delivering service solutions to Defence, Homeland Security and Critical Operators.
• Serve as a major stakeholder in the definition, architecture design and delivery of service solutions to customers.
• Define and recommend service architectures that satisfy stakeholder expectations according to standards, re‑use policies, the service roadmap and business strategy.
• Establish solution architecture by making trade‑offs among stakeholder expectations, various solutions, costs, risks and schedule; document associated artefacts (architecture justification, service breakdown structure) and approve resulting lower‑level specifications for internal or external partners and subcontractors.
• Assist in the solution development cycle, including definition of SLAs and KPIs.
• Advocate the proposed services portfolio to the customer.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or University degree and significant experience in services.
• Significant experience in ICT projects.
• Acquainted with service tools such as ITSM solutions.
• Acquainted with process digitalisation and digital services offers.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch and in English.
