A leading ICT company in Brussels is seeking a Team Lead Security Architects to define and maintain the organization’s security architecture framework. This role requires min 6 years of experience in Security Architecture and Risk Management and at least two high-level security certifications. Fluency in both French and English or Dutch and English is mandatory. This position offers freelance or permanent employment options and focuses on ensuring cybersecurity principles are embedded in projects. Start date is ASAP.

Description/Profile

Responsibilities

• The Team Lead Security Architects is responsible for defining and maintaining the organization’s security architecture framework (Security Standards and Domain Architecture Security), ensuring that cybersecurity principles are consistently embedded across IT and business initiatives and that the Security Architecture is effective and cost‑efficient.
• The role combines strategic direction, governance leadership, and hands‑on architectural oversight to guarantee that solutions align with risk management standards, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture objectives.
• The Team Lead structures and guides the Security Architecture Team, ensuring coherence across projects, mentoring junior and medior architects, and fostering collaboration between the CISO Office, Enterprise Architecture, and operational domains.
• The position plays a key role in ensuring that architectural decisions are risk‑informed, business aligned, and technically sound, supporting the organization’s overall cybersecurity resilience and compliance ambitions.

Qualifications

• Min 6 years of experience in Security Architecture and Risk Management.
• In possession of at least two high‑level security certifications, such as:
  • CSA CCSK or CCZT
• Fluent in both French and English or Dutch and English.
• Capable of producing documentation and leading meetings in both languages.
• Applicants must reside in Belgium.
