Sony Depthsensing Solutions in Brussels seeks a Technical Team Leader to head the Analog & Chiptop Design team within the IC Design Center. You will guide sensor and image sensor projects from feasibility to mass production, ensuring first silicon success and high quality.

The role requires extensive experience in analog design, leadership, and strong English communication across global teams in Europe and Japan. Travel internationally may be required as part of project coordination.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering.
• PhD in a relevant domain or equivalent by experience is an asset.
• Over 15 years' experience in analog design.
• Minimum 3 years in a team leadership or project lead role.
• Proven experience at the top level of a sensor or ASIC.
• Image sensor industry experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent English communication; able to work with diverse IC design teams.
• Deep understanding of analog blocks (ADC, DAC, decoders, drivers, amplifiers, PLL, bandgap, references).
• Familiar with analog layout, debugging, and silicon evaluation.
• Proven track record of multiple tape-outs in recent tech nodes.
• Understanding of semiconductor physics and device implementation; basic digital concepts.
• Experience collaborating with external and internal teams; strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, quality-focused, proactive leadership under tight milestones.
• Willing to travel internationally.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.
• Strong stress resistance near release milestones.

Responsabilités

• Technically coach and lead the analog and chiptop design team; ensure quality and timely deliverables.
• Define, execute and follow-up on the roadmap and developments.
• Manage risk in team operations via monitoring and mitigation.
• Drive process improvements to maximize team efficiency.
• Define and maintain the necessary tools to support team activities.
• Plan assignments, manage competencies, evaluate performance, and hire when needed.
• Cooperate with SDS teams and mid-range planning in context of projects.
• Collaborate with Sony teams in Europe and Japan.
• Promote innovation within the scope of team activities and continuous improvements.
• Regularly report status updates to the IC Design Center Manager.
