Pauwels Consulting seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to oversee Windows-based infrastructure in a fully on-site Brussels setting. You will manage design, implementation, and hardening of critical systems while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high availability.

The role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, security hardening, and monitoring using the ELK stack. Strong scripting, Git/GitLab skills, and ITILv4 familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of DevOps experience, focusing on Windows environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, DFS, and SCCM.
• Expertise in storage, networking, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Proven experience in auditing and hardening Windows-based systems.
• Strong proficiency in virtualization with VMware and backup/restore technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Git, and GitLab.
• Monitoring and log analysis using the ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and ITILv4 Foundation.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language and English.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain operational system management for service continuity and performance.
• Coordinate activities to advance infrastructure projects.
• Define and implement documentation and procedures for infrastructure management and maintenance.
