V-IT NV is seeking a Senior Windows DevOps Engineer to manage and monitor Windows-based infrastructure in Brussels. You will contribute to system security hardening and lead projects while mentoring junior engineers on-site with flexible hours.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, expertise in VMware, Docker/Podman, AD, Git/GitLab, and strong scripting. Belgian workload is on-site only; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven professional experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer.
• Top Secret security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• All activities must be performed on-site; remote work is not possible.
• Dutch- or French-speaking, with a good command of the other national language and English.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions for Windows-based environments.
• Ensure service continuity through robust operations management.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects for timely delivery.
• Monitor and evolve the technical infrastructure for security and performance.
• Create documentation and procedures for maintenance and operation.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
• Apply information security policies to protect data confidentiality and integrity.
• Lead projects and advise on best practices across teams.
