Job summary

Engibex is seeking an experienced validation engineer for an automotive R&D and manufacturing site in Belgium. You will own the validation of a mechanical domain within transmissions, coordinating virtual and bench testing, and signing off on results.

You will translate requirements into detailed validation plans, select test rigs, guide test engineers, and analyze data to drive design decisions. This role requires on-site presence and strong collaboration with design teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electromechanical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent by experience).
• Several years in automotive validation, with knowledge of tests for durability, reliability and limit testing.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; English is working language.

Responsibilities

• Define validation approach for your domain, including virtual validation.
• Translate product requirements into a validation plan and executable test requests.
• Decide which bench and test setup are needed and secure resources.
• Coordinate with test engineers to execute tests and collect data.
• Analyze results, decide pass/fail, and sign off validation.
• Convert long-term planning into weekly planning and remove roadblocks.
• Provide work instructions for technical cases in your domain.
