Photon is seeking an experienced Front-End Platform Lead to own end-to-end delivery of our web/mobile UI platform, including micro-frontend architecture and a shared design system. You will drive technical direction, set standards for React, Node.js/TypeScript, and ensure cohesion across multiple teams while staying hands-on when needed.

You will manage offshore developers, review work, and unblock critical items, delivering high-quality UI at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in front-end engineering with leadership experience in large-scale web apps.
• Expert React (web/mobile) and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience with Webpack, Module Federation, micro-frontend architectures.
• Strong state management knowledge (Redux/Context).
• Design system design, tokens, Figma handoffs.
• ARIA/WCAG accessibility expertise and OWASP front-end security awareness.
• OAuth/OIDC authentication delivery and security best practices.
• Experience managing offshore teams and delivering on tight timelines.
• Proven track record shipping large UI platforms on schedule.

Responsabilités

• Own delivery of the micro-frontend strategy and setup across teams.
• Define the UI design system and tokens; ensure design-to-code handoffs from Figma.
• Set standards for state management and CSS architecture at scale.
• Own accessibility compliance across portal surfaces (ARIA, WCAG).
• Define UI performance budgets and monitoring rollout in production.
• Lead authentication/authorization delivery using OAuth/OIDC; enforce security standards.
• Define A/B testing approach and containerization/deployment patterns for UI services.
• Define test automation strategy (Playwright) and quality gates for UI releases.
• Lead offshore senior developers: sprint commitments, code reviews, unblock work, reporting.
