Job summary

Soda seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead frontend in a TypeScript/Angular stack with Storybook components and Cypress coverage, while touching a Java backend. You own the user experience end-to-end and shape APIs when needed, working directly with PMs and users.

Frontend craft is key, but you’ll also ship backend endpoints and mentor peers. Expect agentic workflows and a fast-paced, globally distributed team delivering data-quality platform value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building frontend for real products: complex SPAs with real users.
• Expert TypeScript and modern framework experience; Angular preferred.
• Frontend craft: architecture, state, performance, responsive design.
• Strong testing mindset: including e2e tests (Cypress/Playwright).
• Backend awareness: read/modify Java services and design consumer APIs.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team across countries.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, data-dense UIs: dashboards, monitoring views, large tables.
• Drive component architecture, state management, frontend performance.
• Build with a component library and Storybook; ensure design system coherence.
• Write tests at every layer; maintain meaningful Cypress e2e coverage.
• Build frontend of agentic features for AI-powered workflows.
• Shape APIs and implement backend changes in Java when needed.
• Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend and end-to-end delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers; influence what to build.
