EY is seeking a Tax professional to join our Transaction Tax team in Belgium. You will work on local and global client engagements, collaborating across borders and with EY tools and networks to solve complex tax issues.

You will contribute to due diligence, structuring acquisitions and coordinating with SaT to provide comprehensive tax advice. The role emphasizes coaching juniors and ensuring clear roles to drive high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics/law with a supplementary degree in tax law.
• 4–5 years of experience in corporate or transaction tax, preferably in a similar environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch or French; fluent in English.
• Client and market focused; practical and stress resistant.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Responsabilités

• Involved in Transaction/M&A client engagements.
• Collaborate with a team of Transaction Tax professionals across borders to apply cross-border experience with local tax knowledge.
• Participate in tax screening of companies (Due Diligence).
• Assist in setting up tax-efficient acquisition structures.
• Coordinate with other Tax sub-departments and Strategy and Transactions; provide input for performance reviews.
• Organize team structure so processes and responsibilities are clear and work is efficiently divided.
• Coach junior profiles and support senior executives in performance reviews.
