Nexeo seeks a Senior Test Analyst to join the IT team in Brussels, supporting a Non-Life Claims transformation program. You will perform hands-on testing across test analysis, design, execution and management, working closely with BAs, FAs, Architects and Developers to ensure quality of mid- to large-scale insurance solutions.

The role requires fluent English, strong domain knowledge in insurance processes, and excellent collaboration across project teams to drive release readiness and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Test Analysis, Test Engineering and/or Test Management.
• Proven experience defining test strategies and Master Test Plans.
• Strong experience in test analysis, test design and test execution.
• Experience defining high-level test structures and test approaches.
• Solid experience in defect management and follow-up.
• Good understanding of Business Process Management and Requirements Management.
• Previous experience in the Insurance sector is mandatory.
• Experience working in complex, integrated IT environments.
• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Architects and Developers.

Nexeo is currently looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join the IT team of one of our leading insurance clients in Brussels.

You will play a key role in a Non-Life Claims transformation program, supporting the development and evolution of claims management applications and customer declaration portals.

This is a hands-on testing role combining test analysis, test design, test execution and test management. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Functional Analysts, Architects and Developers to ensure the quality and reliability of medium- to large-scale IT solutions.

? Your Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

• Analyze business and technical requirements and identify potential quality and testing risks.
• Define and maintain the test strategy and Master Test Plan.
• Establish the overall test scope, test levels and test approach.
• Define high-level test structures and ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Coordinate System, Integration, End-to-End and SIT testing activities.

Test Analysis & Design

• Design and maintain functional and technical test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify and prepare appropriate test data.
• Ensure test scenarios adequately cover business processes, integrations and system interactions.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing conditions.

Test Execution

• Actively execute functional, integration, system and end-to-end tests.
• Validate expected versus actual results and document test evidence.
• Investigate unexpected system behavior and support the identification of root causes.
• Contribute to release and regression testing activities.

Defect & Incident Management

• Identify, document and follow up on software defects and incidents.
• Analyze issues across APIs, integrations, databases, messaging components and end-to-end transaction flows.
• Support defect diagnosis and root-cause analysis.
• Prioritize defects and coordinate their resolution with development and project teams.
• Monitor defect status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Test Management & Reporting

• Monitor testing progress, coverage, risks and results.
• Prepare regular test status reports and quality indicators.
• Coordinate testing activities across different project teams.
• Ensure testing activities remain aligned with project objectives and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA, testing and defect management practices.

? Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Test Analysis, Test Engineering and/or Test Management.
• Proven experience defining test strategies and Master Test Plans.
• Strong experience in test analysis, test design and test execution.
• Experience defining high-level test structures and test approaches.
• Solid experience in defect management and follow-up.
• Good understanding of Business Process Management and Requirements Management.
