In4Matic is seeking an experienced technical project leader to coordinate IT initiatives with a strong technical component. You will define project scope, prepare specifications, estimate resources, plan and monitor activities, and ensure quality and timely delivery from implementation through production support.

You will assess technical quality, including code reviews, and work closely with stakeholders in a complex tech environment. Fluent Dutch and French are required, along with English.

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced technical project leader to coordinate IT initiatives with a strong technical component. In this role, you will define the project scope, prepare the specifications, estimate the required resources, plan and monitor activities, and ensure quality, risk control, and smooth delivery from implementation through to production support. You will also play an important role in assessing technical quality, including through code reviews, while working closely with multiple stakeholders in a complex technological environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall coordination of technical IT projects.
• Define scope, translate needs into clear specifications, and estimate the resources required.
• Plan tasks, monitor progress, and keep delivery aligned with quality standards and deadlines.
• Manage risks, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Coordinate the different teams involved and ensure effective communication between all actors.
• Supervise go-live activities and production deployment.
• Oversee the maintenance and support of the delivered solution or service.
• Assess and review IT quality throughout the project, including code reviews.
• Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute creatively to problem-solving.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in team coordination and leadership of technical profiles such as developers, testers, and analysts.
• Solid background in application lifecycle management, including development, integration, maintenance, performance, and quality.
• Ability to act as a bridge between business functions and IT, translating business needs into technical solutions and clear reporting.
• Extensive knowledge of project management and related tools.
• Experience with agile methods and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of process modelling and documentation, including UML, flowcharts, and BPMN.
• Technical environment includes .NET (C#), WebAPI, Angular, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in team coordination
• At least 10 years of experience in application management
• Expert in IT project management and tools (10 years+)
• Good knowledge of Agile/scrum (at least 5 years experience)
• Clear and effective communicator with the ability to engage constructively with management and teams.

Practical Information

• Languages: fluent Dutch and fluent French.
• Fluent English.
