Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Customer Technical Development (CTD) Engineer to deliver timely technical expertise to customers and support market development across Europe, with primary focus on automotive and electrification.

Working with R&D, Marketing and Sales, you will develop applications, provide technical proposals, train customers and represent the company at conferences. Hybrid model and international travel up to 50% are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
5+ years in technical support or research related to polymer processing.
Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and material properties.
English and German fluency.

Responsibilities

Develop technical expertise on existing and new applications with R&D, Marketing and Sales.
Provide proactive technical consultation and solutions for customers and prospects.
Build and maintain relationships across customer organizations and industry associations.
Identify and develop new application and growth opportunities; deliver technical proposals and demonstrations.
Provide end-to-end technical support: train customers, troubleshoot and drive corrective actions.
Represent the company at technical conferences and create high-quality content for internal and customer use.
